The Bible is really an amazing book to read. One thing that just really amazes me is that when you try to understand it with your own mind and without the knowledge of God, it’s very hard to comprehend. It seems as though it doesn’t make any sense. But when He speaks through it and you just ask for His guidance and wisdom to be able to understand what He’s trying to tell you, the words become all so clear and His message just becomes so clear. It’s the coolest book ever! I don’t think any book could ever make that happen. AWESOME!!
“Times” by Tenth Avenue North AKA my absolute most favorite song in the whole entire world.
”I know I need You, I need to love You, Lord And I’d love to see You, but it’s been so long I long to feel You, I feel this need for You And I need to hear You, is that so wrong? Now You pull me near You, when we’re close, I fear You Still I’m afraid to tell You all that I’ve done Are You done forgiving? Or can You look past my pretending? I’m so tired of defending what I’ve become What have I become? I hear You say, “My love is over, it’s underneath It’s inside, it’s in-between The times you doubt Me, and when you can’t feel The times that you question ‘Is this for real?’ The times you’re broken, the times that you mend The times you hate Me and the times that you bend Well My love is over, it’s underneath It’s inside, it’s in-between These times you’re healing, and when your heart breaks The times that you feel like you’ve fallen from grace The times you’re hurting, the times that you heal The times you go hungry and are tempted to steal In times of confusion, and chaos, and pain I’m there in your sorrow, under the weight of your shame I’m there through your heartache, I’m there in the storm My love, I will keep you by My power alone I don’t care where you fall, or where you have been I’ll never forsake you, My love never ends It never ends.”
I seriously just want to bold and underline and italicize and emphasize every single word of this song.
“First I was dying to finish high school and start college. And then I was dying to finish college and start working. And then I was dying to marry and have children. And then I was dying for my children to grow old, go to and finish school. And then I was dying to retire. And now I am dying and suddenly I realized, I FORGOT TO LIVE.”—Anonymous
You’ll never find anybody who achieved great success without a give-up story. Nothing comes for free. And there will come a time when you will realize that you will have to give up something good, if you want something better.
It makes me feel hungry. I actually forgot that I haven’t eaten dinner yet. That doesn’t really happen a lot. And by that, I mean, super seldom. I usually decide to not eat anymore because I don’t want to eat alone or it’s already too late in the evening for me to still eat. :)
