So let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit” (Galatians 6:9, The Message).
Everyone has God-given dreams and desires. We all have goals we want to accomplish and situations we are believing will be turned around. Sometimes it seems to take longer than we originally thought. Sometimes, things don’t work out the way we planned, and it’s easy to lose enthusiasm. If we’re not careful, we’ll get discouraged and end up just settling where we are. But God doesn’t want us to settle, He wants to take us higher. But many times, people miss out on God’s best simply because they give up too soon. They don’t realize how close they are to their victory.
Friend, don’t let that be you today. Don’t give up just because things seem hard. You’ve invested so much, and you never know, just a few more days of believing, another few weeks of doing the right thing, another few months of staying in faith, and you could see that situation turn around. Remember, God is on your side! Keep standing and keep believing because you are closer than you think to fulfilling every desire He’s placed inside of you!
“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh”
(Ezekiel 36:26, NIV)In life, we all have negative things happen to us. We go through situations that are unfair. I know people who were raised in an unhealthy environment. Their parents had issues, and now it’s making it much more difficult on them.
But here is what I’ve learned: when you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, He gives you a new heart. In other words, your blood line changes. No longer are you subject to your earthly heritage, you become subject to your heavenly heritage! His spiritual blessing always overrides the curse in the natural realm. When you understand who you are and what God has already done, then no matter what someone else has done, no matter how unfair it was, no matter how you were raised, you won’t get bitter. You won’t live with a chip on your shoulder. You realize that nothing can stop you from fulfilling your God-given destiny!
Today, remember you came from Almighty God. He gave you life. When you choose Him, you are choosing your heavenly heritage of blessing and eternal, abundant life!

“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you. For My power is made perfect in weakness.’” (2 Corinthians 12:9 )
Sometimes we feel inadequate to serve the Lord. Moses certainly thought so when He told God that no one would listen to him preach because of his speaking disability (see Exodus 4:10) Don’t believe that lie. Just as God was able to do mighty things through Moses, so He can also do mighty things through you.
God says that His grace is sufficient; that it is enough. Yes, we have weaknesses but these weaknesses shouldn’t get in the way of us giving our best to the Lord. If anything, let your weakness be a reason for you to rely on God’s power more.
Let Him work in your life and watch in amazement as He unfolds things you cannot even begin to imagine!
